Basic Corporate Information section

You can find your Ontario Corporation Number (OCN) and Date of Incorporation at the top of your Articles of Incorporation (or Letters Patent) or on the first page of the Corporate Profile Report (which GovernWell will upload to the Corporate Registry - AIR section of your dashboard shortly after you create your account).

Ontario Business Registry Company Key – if you have your company key already you can enter it into the Basic Corporate Information section.  If not, you will need to obtain a company key for GovernWell to be able to complete your Annual Information Return filing for you.  If you wish, GovernWell can obtain your Company Key on your behalf or you can obtain your Company Key  directly at https://www.appmybizaccount.gov.on.ca/onbis/companykey/?lang=en

If you are a registered Charity, you can find your CRA Business Number (BN), and date of charity registration on your latest T3010 filing, on the pages from the CRA Charities Directorate that GovernWell will upload to the CRA Annual Filing section of your dashboard, or by looking up your organization on the Charities Directorate at https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/hacc/srch/pub/dsplyBscSrch

Primary Activity NAICS code – Your corporation’s profile on the Ontario Business Registry includes an industry classification code. You can find your code on the Ontario Business Registry (if you already have access) or from Statistics Canada at: https://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=1369825

If you do not know this code, you can leave this field blank and GovernWell will complete this for you once we have access to your corporation on the OBR.
